so you all like peeing, right? well then get involved with URINETOWN!!!!! it's a hilarious show, very dark and moody and cool with lots of seriously FUN music, and plenty of opportunity for people to get involved at all levels.
here's some info for those of you who may be so inclined to AUDITION FOR THE MUSICAL THIS YEAR! there are tons of female AND male roles, no experience necessary! please do not be afraid of the auditions! personality plays a big part, so even if you've never sung or danced or acted before, COME ONE OUT! we're also looking of people to AUDITION FOR THE PIT BAND - the band is a lot of fun, so please come on out for that as well! and of course, we're always LOOKING FOR CREW! this is the easiest way to get involved, all you have to do is email email@example.com saying you'd like to get involved, and there will be a spot for you. you can be involved a LOT and sign up for something that will last the whole semester (winter semester) or you can be all "i just wanna show up for the show" and we'll be all "friggin sweet, right this way!"
thanks for your time, homies! if you have any questions or would like more info, please please PLEASE either comment here, email me, franny (vocal director): fmccabeb @ uog, or email curtain call: curtain @ uog.
this is just for fun... OPENING NUMBER! sorry for the kind of crappy camera-person, but this clip highlights the music the best
"WE'RE NOT SORRY"! just a snippet, no spoilers now...
my show is going SO WELL! thanks to everyone who has come out to see it, and for those of you who haven't, come on by! tickets are selling fast, last night's show was sold out and apparently that's the first time a september show has sold out!! the audience has been very receptive and responsive to the show, we've heard many times that this is the best show people have ever seen, many patrons have mistakenly thought it was a professional show with professional actors (i wish! franny loves the dollaz) so if you want a chance to experience it before it goes, come on down! sept 13-16 @ the oakville centre for the performing arts, box office number: 905-815-2021

Keep an eye out for a bake sale from The Wellness Centre some time next week, which is going to be our last event. The funds will go to a charity of Mike's (the bus driver) choosing.
Thanks again, everyone - especially Erika Gates-Gasse (our CSA Local), Meg Shannon and her fantastic PR guy Andrew, and Meghan from The Wellness Centre :)
